  Do JWs eat shrimp, crab, lobster, clams, and mussels?

  i'll play devil's advocate.... true, the mosaic law code prohibited the eating of blood.

  but jesus fulfilled the law covenant thus wiping out all the laws previously set.

  but then later, (through god's spirit, of course wink wink) the abstaining of blood was again brought to followers of christ.

  I recently found out that it is not actually "blood" in a lobster, but an analogue to blood called hemolymph, which is present in all arthrodods, and most mollusks.

  The Mosaic Law was fulfilled. The various festivals, dietary restrictions, etc. were not necessary any more. Some still were hard-headed about it, and they had meetings about it, and reaffirmed certain principles: sexual conduct, blood, etc. But not dietary restrictions as far as chewing cud, scales, and all that.

  gumby and i were talking today and we discussed why the scriptures would say that people are held higher than the animals but if this is the case then why does god allow animals to attack humans ?

  any answers on this one ?.

  on another note i really do not want to see jwd go away, i would be more than willing to be a paying member to keep the lurkers out and those who threaten others from this site.

  i am just wondering what most of you all think.. do any of the ex-jws here believe any of this stuff?.

  i saw through search that much has been mentioned about icke on this website, but a lot of it seems to have been from 2002, so i know some people here must be familiar with it.. i am not talking about the far flung lizard people.

  They do not fear your file, they fear that if they have to give it up, it sets the legal precedent, and they are completely screwed. They would lose all semblance of power over the records.
